I remember going to Showbiz Pizza back in the late 80’s when I was a younger lad. It was in the present Chuck-E-Cheese building. I was always creeped out by the giant robot gorilla, and some 20 years later, I can say that I am still creeped out by the gorilla.

A documentary is coming out this fall that tells the story of the Showbiz band, the Rocka-fire Explosion.

By far the greatest clip is the guy taking the costume off the robot and walking around in it.

Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a Steak n Shake? NCCSites is a local videoblog and went behind the scenes at one of the local restaurants. I’m not sure if it’s the east or west side, but it’s certainly delicious looking.

While my Fourth of July plans will be taking a bit of a backseat thanks to Apple’s July 7 deadline for AppStore submissions, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to celebrate vicariously through you.

If you are planning on setting off fireworks over the weekend, I want to see video and photos. I’m not talking about sparklers and cherry bombs. I want to see the real stuff that you have to ask for behind the counter and only pay in cash. Shoot the video and then upload it to YouTube, Vimeo or post it as a video comment here and let everyone enjoy your work.

Obviously I don’t want you to do anything dangerous or stupid, but think of It’s Evansville when you’re setting off those fireworks. If I get a really great video or photo set, I might see if I can drum up a prize or something.
