It seems like our old Courthouse doesn’t have a bad angle. Flickr user mapstud(y) contributed this great shot.

Fog and rain are highlighted by the splash of color from the parking cones at the Evansville Region Airport. Good job, andyrobe.

Flickr user Rayneman666 published a black & white shot of the Deaconess Parking Garage that puts a light on it that makes it far more interesting than your typical parking structure.

Halloween is coming up soon, so we decided to spotlight one of our favorite Halloween spots: Willard Library. Willard is known to be the home of the Grey Lady who has been haunting the library for over 60 years.
Flickr user by toddland has some great shots of the library that give it an ominous feel. Now if only he could snap a few shots of that mysterious lady…

The Fall Festival is behind us, and it gave local photographers a great opportunity to capture the happenings of the festival and share them with people around the world. Flickr user theFenguon captured some great shots of the rides (an area of the festival I stayed far away from). In [che][cke][rbo][ard] he captured the lights of the ferris wheel in a way that gives it a checkered lighting pattern. Be sure to check out his Gravatron photo too. Good job!

Flickr user wshep1 snapped a shot of the Korean War Monument at the river front in the dark of night. I really like how the light reflects off of the soldiers. The orange lighting that shines on the monument at night accents every intricate detail in the metal. Good work.

While this picture has no photographic merit, I saw it while scouring through Flickr today, and couldn’t resist publishing it for In Focus. Flickr user djh644 snapped this photo of a marquee at a local Dairy Queen earlier this summer advertising a unique kind of Fathers Day cake. From looking at the Flickr map, I think this is the DQ that is only seasonally open on Franklin. Be sure to go in there and try to buy a mushroom swiss cake.
