Sorry there hasn’t been much on the site this week. I’m swamped with real work this week.

Craigslist is a centralized network of online community classifieds, job postings, personals and more started by a guy named Craig. Evansville has had its own Craigslist site for a few years now and one of it’s most useful features is missed connections

Sometimes you are out at a local bar or restaurant, and catch the eye of something across the room. You might even pick up a conversation with the person and hit it off. Unfortunately, the night ends without you getting contact information: sometimes not even a name. That’s where craigslist comes in and It’s Evansville come in. To help you out, we periodically spot some of the missed connections that are posted locally, and hopefully help some poor guy or gal out in their attempts to find true love.

More than a few people have emailed and sent in anonymous tips claiming that this site is a pain to navigate. Hopefully I have alleviated this by adding a category browser in the sidebar.

Now its even easier to read past local food reviews, discussion threads and dumb criminal stories that have been posted on It’s Evansville.

As if it isn’t obvious but the sporadic posting this week, I’m on vacation until the new year. After sitting in front of the computer 24/7 for 8 months finishing a contract job, I decided to take the rest of December off to recharge for the new year.

I’ll still try to get a post or two up a day, but our regularly blogging will resume on January 2, 2008.

I really am hoping my brother who works at AT&T knows who this is.

This is genius. A few UE kids were frustrated that their offcampus apartment was falling apart and were tired of dealing with their landlords refusal to repair any of it. They decided to invite the landlord over, videotape the home tour with him and publish it to YouTube. There are four parts, but this first ten minutes should be enough to get the point across.
