Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving. If you missed the Macy’s parade, I think I can sum it up here pretty much.

Just a bit.
!! The Macy’s Parade got Rickrolled!! Too Funny…
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I missed that, I must not have turned it on until after!!!! That’s fucking hilarious! Absolutely hilarious
Haha, and then that little creature said something about rick rolling, hahaha
“I LIKE RICK ROLING!” says the little creature, too funny
Also, love how the crowd went crazy when they started playing his song
I actually caught this part of the parade and it was really weird….that song is like 20 years old! too funny
Maybe I’m just being cynical, but I think that officially puts the last nail in this meme’s coffin. It made me shudder a little bit when I saw it on the TV.
I thought the same thing too, dan. I marked out like a total fangirl when I saw the video at first, but my reaction after that was that it had now officially nuked the fridge.
Wow, I was a loyal viewer of Happy Days so I had to look that term up. I agree entirely though. It’s not that the whole idea isn’t hilarious, but just like every other “meme”, it eventually gets used/referenced by someone you really dislike. Then again, maybe I’m just a smarmy prick and that’s why I also avoid cover bands.
Anyway, the fact the meme transcended into “IRL-land” is very noteworthy and I’m glad you reported about it. Hopefully my first comment didn’t suggest otherwise.
Dang, I’m old enough to remember when that song came out…..and the video (when MTV still played videos). My boy Rick had some moves too…yes, I’m kidding. And Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends! Ok, I watch too much Cartoon Network with the kiddos. Btw, if you want to see a real Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, head west on Boonville-New Harmony Rd off of Hwy 41. There’s a house there that looks just like it!!
