Thunder On The Ohio may not be dead just yet. The American Boat Racing Association board of directors voted to acquire the docks, boats and flatbeds that were owned by the Freedom Festival as a first step towards possibly hosting the race themselves next August or September. GAGE will still be holding a June summer festival, but a week earlier than normal.

Another case of if you can’t beat them at the polls, take them to court. Now the GOP is contesting Democrat Ed bassemeir’s election to County Council under the Hatch Act because he is the safety director at the Evansville Region Airport.
