Nothing like a park revitalization to make you feel good on a Friday. This time it’s Line Street Park. [C&P]

Looks like Aztar is going to be sold. If I were to buy it, I’d turn it into a parking lot. That dumb boat is an eyesore to the downtown area. [C&P]

can we hope that the company that wants to purchase aztar will throw some money towards the boat and surrounding complex. i believe a few simple things would do wonders.. a scrub down, painting, and lighting would help. and maybe.. change the name. please, change the name.
even, if they continued the neon under the skywalk.. that’s a plus.

While I doubt Downtown will ever be the shopping district it once was it can definitely be a great entertainment district. A lot of things would need to happen first though.

aztar sale is off.. guess the interest rate that eldorado was going to get was too much.
