Fall Festival Bingo 2008

It’s time for what will hopefully become an annual tradition for the Fall Festival in the same ilk as brain sandwiches and creepy carnival workers: Fall Festival Bingo!

This year’s card is 100% from scratch and includes a mix of Festival traditions, new items at the Festival, and some of the lesser advertised byproducts of the Nut Club’s annual tradition. While you’re at the Festival, carry around the Bingo card with you and mark each square you come across. When you hit bingo, come back here and tell us how and where you did it.

If you know someone who will be at the Fall Festival but who does not read this site, send him or her a link to this post or the PDF itself.

The key is after the jump.

* AppleJack: 50% Apple Cider. 50% Jack Daniels. 100% fun at the festival.
* West Side Pride: Reitz T-Shirt, Blue Jeans and a Reitz Varsity Jacket or Hat.
* Yup, Weʼre A Red State: Find sort of conservative booth or display. Can include McCain/Palin, Pro-Life or extreme displays of Christianity.

mark the square…then hide.

I have a goldfish I won from the fall festival. My sister and I just wanted to play the game, not actually get a fish, but alas we won a fish and we thought we should save him from whatever future lay ahead of him. So we took him home.

    THAT WAS TWO YEARS AGO!

The fish is now huge, and by all logical means, shouldn’t be alive considering his tank’s water has been anything from clear to orange, and at one point we bought 3 other fish to be friends with him, and they all died in a few weeks.

So yes, we have a 2-year old fish from the Fall Festival, that won’t die (haha), named Carnie

My Fall Festival gold fish lasted 3+ years.

WOW, there must be something in the Fall Fest water, don’t you think Chimpie? I’ve never had a goldfish live so long. Well, at least I know my Carnie is a tough one….I definitely expect a few more years out of him

Saw a good one while I was down there tonight. Chocolate Covered Bacon. No joke. I think it was at booth 36, Central United Methodist. I didn’t actually see the CCB, but it was clearly marked on their booth.

  6. Jenna says:

Robyn, my sister and I tried it

There’s going to be a Fall Festival Food Adventures review that comes up tomorrow–the picture that goes along with it actually is of the chocolate covered bacon, but we are taking suggestions for things to try next time we go!!!

  7. Robyn says:

That’s awesome!! Can’t wait to hear how it was.
