Behind the Scenes at Steak-N-Shake
Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a Steak n Shake? NCCSites is a local videoblog and went behind the scenes at one of the local restaurants. I’m not sure if it’s the east or west side, but it’s certainly delicious looking.
You can see more pictures and video at their site.
Thanks to Sarah for the tip

When I lived in Evansville; I went to the west side Steak n Shake one time. I was up all night with the runs. I never went back.

I quit going to the East side Steak n Shake after I went through the drive-in and ordered a shake - then watched he girl inside the window spill the shake on the counter and RAKE the spilled fluid off the counter and back into the cup. She then handed me the cup. Nasty people.
Then there was the time prior when I found a big long hair on top of my hamburger there. At least it wasn’t short and curly.

You’re joking right? This is retarded, just like everything else on their website. I’m guessing, that this video was recorded sometime near a “rush.” You people seriously think that this is disturbing?

I will take slower service any day…just keep it clean, people.

I worked in fast food for 5 years. This isn’t bad at all. I’d assume he snuck back there because they were having a rush, and in those periods things aren’t always cleaned right away- you’re too busy being nailed with a gazillion people at once. It wasn’t that dirty to begin with, but we saw all of 2 feet of the space. Was it cleaned after the rush?
I’m certainly not bothered by the video. It’s just not possible to keep a restaurant spotless all day long. They make degreaser for a reason.

I went to Steak n Shake on the East side yesterday for lunch and I can say they have improved since my last visit (months ago). The place is decently clean and the food came out lightning fast (miracle). I asked our waitress what seemed to the the problem with the clean restaurant and the lighting fast food delivery, and she said the local Steak n Shakes are now under new ownership and pointed out the new owner, who was working the cash register. I suggest giving them another shot.

Okay, yeah, I was the waitress at this time. And you sat in there for FOUR HOURS because your cousin was working who was completely worthless and had a bad attitude. Yes, I was too busy to notice you back there, but as for the “serivce being bad” well, you didn’t eat and if you did then it was free from your cousin and you got it to go. Its sad that I was almost fired for not knowing what was going on….
For the record. This was after a bar rush on a Saturday night with a total of 3 workers in the whole store.

This was posted on their site. Bravo for promoting people like this. It’s funny they have a problem when people threaten them and their family with words(look around on their site).Just threats, no action. Yet in his reply, he basically acknowledges that he doesn’t care about how his actions affected this ladies personal well being.

Hey. Thanks for almost getting me fired for you sneaking around with your worthless cousin.
For everyone to know, noone usually gets milkshakes on third shift because they are a bunch of drunkards that just want water to drink….if a milkshake gets made, the can is rinsed out and clean. The shake base was clean, the milk was clean, the shakes were good. With a total of 3 workers working during a busy night, its hard to clean up.

as for the demoralization of me? how did you do that? i have never given any customer my number. ever. i have never tried to get with anyone there, even when they were throwin themselves at me (your cousin) i dont keep secrets from my fiance and i dont tell lies to make myself look better. mayb thats y i have such a good relationship and a great guy and you two have noone. even when you do have someone you “know how to keep a secret” and lose all honesty. I dont work there anymore anyways. let me know if you get somewhere in life.

I don’t care about your personal issues against the guys who shot this video. I don’t know them, nor do I care to ever meet them. I merely linked their video.
If you want to have a mindless argument with them, go to their site and do it.

To let you all know Danielle Elsner was not even there the night this happened. This was not a Saturday night like she proclaims, it was done between Tuesday, or Thursday. The dinning room was shut down and there was no reason for the place to look the way it did.
P.S there was no rush that night.

To let you all know. Nick is a manipulative lying person with no morals.
If the dining room was closed, then how would his service be “shotty”?
I am so glad we have American soldiers fightin for stupid SOBs like these ones.
