Have You Seen My 400-Pound Indian Statue?

If you were one of the people that stole the giant Indian statue out of the backyard of Fred Byes, please return it. Also, please explain what made you desire stealing such an odd item from someone’s backyard.

The article in the paper said that the owner was away for the weekend.
My question is, how would anyone possibly know that was in this guy’s backyard? From the picture given, it appears that the yard is fenced in and that unless you were looking for it, you wouldn’t see it. Plus, with it being 400 pounds, whomever took it must have planned the heist. I suspect people who know the owner or a possible neighbor.

Either that or wherever this guy went, he was bragging about how proud he was of the giant indian statue in his back yard. :)
