It's Evansville — Freedom Festival Bingo 2008

With the Freedom Festival set to begin this week, most people will be looking forward to hydroplane racing, greasy food and air shows. While I’m looking forward to those things as well, I can’t help but to be excited to enjoy another local festival that brings together all walks of life in a centralized location.

After the success of last fall’s inaugural Fall Festival Bingo card, it was only fitting to do one for Evansville’s summer tradition.

The Freedom Festival Bingo card is a mixture of festival events, attractions and sights you might see as you walk around the festival during the day or night.

While you’re eating your cotton candy and playing your carnival games, carry around this bingo card and play along with other readers. If you hit Bingo, come back to the comments and let everyone know how you did it. Bonus points if you have photos to share.

Bingo Key:

More Fingers Than Teeth: If you spot a patron or carnie with 10 ﬁngers, and 9 or less teeth.
Military Flyover: If you see one of the several military plane ﬂyovers that occur during the festival.

Hadi Funster: If you see a Hadi Funster clown.
Fist Fight: If you see a ﬁst ﬁght or some other type of physical skirmish. (Courtesy of newsfan)
Child Mohawk: A kid with a mohawk hairdo.
Hipster: Vintage clothing, snubbing the lack of vegan food options, Duran Duran tshirt, trucker hat, you get the picture. Just ﬁnd one. (Courtesy of evey)
8 and 88: Someone who is pledging allegiance to Dale Jrʼs old and new team simultaneously.
Political Candidate: If you spot a politician trying to lobby for votes. Bonus points if they have the sleeves of their button up shirt rolled up.
Hydroplane Race: If you watch a Hydroplane race or test session during the festival.
Heatstroke: Spot someone being treated for being overheated or dehydrated (Courtesy of Bobby)
Eric Church: Attend Eric Churchʼs concert.
5 Curse Words. 1 Sentence: You hear a festival patron string together 5 naughty words into a single sentence.
Itʼs Evansville Sticker: Spot an Itʼs Evansville sticker plastered somewhere at the Festival.
Unsavory Crack: If someoneʼs pants are just a bit too low and their ass a bit too large for said pants.

Pole Vaulter: If you attend the pole vaulting competition.
Festival Fireworks: Attend the Festival Fireworks show. Watching on TV does not count.
Sweat, Not Water: Spot someone whose tshirt is completely drenched in sweat.
Mayor Weinzapfel: If you see our mayor in the ﬂesh.
Corndog Double Fisting: If you spot someone with two corndogs at the same time.
Lemon Shakeup!: A food booth worker tries to sell you a lemon shakeup.
