Opie & Anthony Comment on WFIE’s Byron Douglas’s Earthquake Shot
I was listening to last Friday’s Opie and Anthony show while working this afternoon and they picked up on Byron Douglas’s on-air shot during the earthquake. They were none too pleased with his demeanor during the event.
The clip is below, but it contains very salty language so use headphones or avoid if you’re at work.

My thoughts:
1: The sound clip was completely edited…so while it was funny even in the way it really went down, to Byron’s defense it was a tad exaggerated.
2: That’s Byron…that’s why I crack up at him every morning. He’s an A.D.D. weather personality, but since I am also A.D.D. he makes perfect sense to me. He can have 5 topics rolling at once and I get them all. Not to mention, he throws in random obscure movie quotes that my husband picks up on.
3: Radio personalities always strike me as the type of people that would have spent a lot of time in detention while younger.
Fun blog—thanks for sharing.

aren’t Opie and Anthony the two that have been pulled from many stations, even fired, for some of their antics, including urging a couple to have sex in a church (and then broadcasting it)?

That’d be the ones.
