Technology Column: Let XP Go!
The latest edition of my Courier & Press technology column is both in the print and online editions of today’s paper. Each Friday I write about what I’ve encountered in the past week technology wise. It’s really a giant scam to justify the amount of time I spend on the Internet.
This week I pretty much write a eulogy for XP. It’s time to embrace Vista, people. You can read it by clicking here, or go pick up a copy of the paper so you can see my mug shot up close and personal.
If you want to read my past columns, check out the dotColumn archive.

Agreed, XP must die, for technology to advance. It was great while it lasted, and it beat the hell out of WIN9x. However, Vista is capable of even more!

XP was and is a great OS. I’ve been using Vista now for about two months and am very happy.

I agree if I’m not using OSX I’m using Vista. There are a few things that many have to get used to, such as running programs as admin. Though, personally, I feel those that complain about vista are trying it on an older system with less power.
