Byron Douglas Live on Air During Earthquake
Here’s the video from this morning’s WFIE morning show where the quake hit during Bryon Douglas’s weather report. Oh what I would have given for him to have a Wayne Hart moment.

Byron (Purdue Grad) is a true professional. Didn’t even flinch!
First Jeff Lyons stays on air while a tornado was possibly heading towards the station…and now Byron does the forecast while there is an earthquake.
I’m pretty sure Armageddon is going to be the Channel 14 Storm Team versus Mother Nature…it may not be pretty. LOL.
I love how he supposes the shaking could be strong wing gusts…seems like the first thing he would have ruled out as meteorologist.
this clip is now on cnn.com. the second time this year for wfie’s meteorologists to make it onto national news for something silly.
What a trouper! The show must go on. Wayne Hart likely would’ve shit himself.
“it’s not uncommon”. ?
When was the last time this happened on the air during his career?
Too funny.
