Fed Ex Rap

Comments | Add A Comment

It’s apparently YouTube week on It’s Evansville. This video was done by a delivery driver who does routes in Henderson. FedEx is apparently a happening place these days.

I have met this man before. He is a FedEx delivery man in Henderson. He was delivering packages at work one day, and performed part of this rap for us. He is a very nice, polite man who can be seen driving around Henderson in a FedEx truck!

I know this guy…can’t put my finger on where though! He mentioned in the rap, “south of the river…Henderson, KY…” Sounds like an Evansville guy to me.

somehow he looks familiar….I can’t believe he did this seriously though, by that I mean that he didn’t start cracking up at one point—I would have!

Anyone get the feeling this will be in a training video someday for someone starting at FedEX?

I work for FedEx and think it is great that some of us have a sense of humor. I have worked for them over 20 years and “if you can’t have some fun or don’t like your job, you shouldn’t be there”.

Perfect timing - today is FedEx’s 35th birthday!

koala bear

April 17, 2008 @ 04:09PM

I would be more impressed if I would ever see a Ground driver with his seatbelt on, his door closed and his phone turned off.

Shawna

April 17, 2008 @ 04:53PM

This is awesome! I love it and agree this would make an excellent FedEx Commercial. I imagine ‘koala bear’ would feel differently about the seatbelt on/door closed/cell phone off thing after delivering a route for even half a day. There’s no time for seat belts and closing the door. These guys are in and out of buildings like lightning every day because the job demands it. I’m impressed!

kman

April 17, 2008 @ 05:40PM

Never see UPS drivers with rap skills… the union would never approve it ! It promotes a fun work environment !

However I must say the DHL guys have a much better Gansta look !
