Hillary Coming To Evansville Thursday

Comments | Add A Comment

Hillary Clinton will be in town Thursday evening for a town hall meeting at Harrison High School at 7PM. Doors open at 5:45.

I’ll see if I can get the campaign to give me press access so I can go.

Of course, I have to work that night! I would love to see Hilary, I believe she is what this country needs right now. Not to turn this into a big argument, but Obama doesn’t have enough experience and the only thing he actually has is his eloquent speeches that are written for him.

I think you mean Senator Clinton.

Obama may not have the experience, but Hillary has no chance against McCain. If the Dems want to take this election they are going to need Obama to be the front runner to even stand a chance against McCain. Hill can sit as VP and still do this country some good but shes got no chance of winning the election as the front runner- I really believe America is not ready for a female pres but they do want somebody with fresh IDEAS- not speeches Amy- ideas - Thats Obama-

IDEAS! lol that is funny. Ideas don’t do anything, I want to see results. Where are they? Hillary in Evansville, one more reason not to be in town Thursday night. And don’t think I am a blind follower of the Republican party either because the only thing McCain has going for him is military experience, the POW for 5 years does deserve honor and recognition and has impacted him I am sure, but his stance on ILLEGAL immigrants and several other issues important to me makes me weary to vote for him either. I don’t like the resume’s of any of them, Obama - been a senator for less than 2 years, Hillary - married to ex-president, led failed plan to socialize health care.
I figure they need more than cheap words to apply for CEO of the USA don’t you?
Don’t listen to the hype, compare the achievements, you wouldn’t get hired for just saying you’re the best man/woman for the job. You have to give proof, i.e. resume, credentials. So should they, and it should be concrete not opinion.

It wouldn’t matter who was running for President on the Democratic side, because there’s no way in heck another Republican is going to win after the Bush debacle, especially someone old and stodgy like McCain. They need a young, energetic person to even have a chance or better yet, a woman or another minority. Stale…..

We should be grateful someone as intelligent and dedicated as she is even has an interest. Our collective cynicism is depressing. The fact that she is a woman has nothing to do with it, if she is dedicated and intelligent she get’s my vote. Obama is glib, I’ll give him that, and may be smart enough, but he’s shown that he is not careful about who he has around him and since he is relying on advice rather than experience, I would say “maybe next time” to him. Right now, its time for our first Lady President.

Sorry, gregg, but that’s failed logic. I don’t think I could name a political figure that hasn’t fucked up when it comes to who they surround themselves with. Clintons, Obamas and McCains included.

I dont think I would count any chicks yet, I personally think both Hillary and Obama are un-electable. Too much contraversy and lack of achievements/experience. Although I don’t believe polls much, I do find it interesting McCain leads both of them by double digits. That tells me that people may just be less interested in party lines, which is a good thing. I personally wish the DNC and GOP would dissolve completely and people would have to get elected based on principles and character, not because of being a Dem or Rep. Call me old fashioned I guess.
