Flickr user, and It’s Evansville favorite, ZRX1200R has shot some photos from inside the old Sterling Brewery. These building are likely to be destroyed once the construction begins on the new intersection at the Lloyd & Fulton so having them forever archived on Flickr is a good thing.

In Focus spotlights a photograph taken by a reader of It’s Evansville. If you’d like a chance to have your photo featured, upload your photo to Flickr and tag it with “itsevansville”.

thanks immensely for the compliments and attention. very much appreciated.

for the photos of the old Sterling Brewery (and, actually, fire station and horse stables, though i don’t know which came first), i was actually inspired by another flickr member and local photographer: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeremysoper/2150165618/

i had always meant to stop by and take pictures, but it wasn’t until i saw his photos that i made the time.
