Listen To The Evansville Police Scanner On Ustream
When I’m working from home, I usually have my XM radio playing live, but if you’re into listening to police scanners, the Evansville Police Department’s scanner is now being streamed via Ustream. Ustream is a Web service that lets people do live streaming audio and video shows for others around the world.
The EPD scanner being online is nothing new. The Courier & Press has had it online for quite a while, but that requires Windows Media and as a Mac guy, that makes me feel gross inside.

Update: Looks like the scanner got taken down. Perhaps it was unauthorized?

I’m sorry. I contributed this from Ustream.tv via e-mail to Justin. The person on the stream must not be broadcasting as they were before. I apologize and hopefully they will be soon, if they realize there are people actually paying attention to it.
