Indiana Blog Conference Forming
While this has nothing to do with Evansville, I’d wager It’s Evansville has one of the larger blog readerships in Southern Indiana. There is a campaign going on to establish a conference in Indianapolis for Indiana Bloggers sometime in the fall next year.
The Indiana Blog Conference movement was started by Coffey Design, an Indianapolis-based Web development shop.
Potential session topics will include various issues relating to blogging and social media, such as: political blogging, ways to make your blog and blog writing better, website analytics, blog and social media marketing techniques, business blogging, citizen journalism, creative commons, social networking, monetizing your blog, and local topics.
I’ve put in my donation to make this a reality and I hope you will too. If you are currently an Indiana-based blogger, or want to be, consider donating to the fund as well. You won’t be charged for your donation unless the $9800 can be fully raised.
