the Vanderburgh Humane Society has an event Saturday night at the shelter celebrating the release of their new book “Happy Tails.”
The book features photos of local animals adopted at the shelter. Its a low-key get together, from 6:30 to 8:30.
The shelter will also be showing, and raising funds, for their new surgical center, so injured animals may not have to go to an outside vet.
