EVV to IND: Now a RLTY
After many months of speculations and then negotiations, the Evansville Regional Airport will begin daily flights to Indianapolis beginning today. Cape Air, a Massechusetts-based carrier, will be offering five daily flights between Indianapolis and Evansville using nine-seat Cessna propellor-driven planes.
The flights will cost about $200 for roundtrip once the introductory fares expire. If you loathe that Highway 41 to I-70 drive from hell as much as I do, it’s enticing. I did the 180-mile road trip on Sunday, and it is both time consuming and extremely boring.
Are you interested in the new flights? I just hope they can get the planes off on time.
