  • The EPD is going to be offering voluntary Spanish classes for its officers. The course will consist of 12-weeks of classroom work, an online course and a 10-day immersion course next fall. [C&P]

  • The Mayoral race may be a bore, but the Democrats are sure having fun with Andrew “Sewers Before Stadium” Smith. They mailed out a smear flyer that accuses him of a shadowy past. [C&P]

  • Speaking of the election, all 430 poll workers are ready to run the 86 precincts across Evansville. [News25]

  • CJ’s Home Protection Act passed unopposed in the House of Representatives the other day. Next up is the Senate. CJ’s law is named after CJ Martin who was killed in the November 2005 tornado. It requires manufactured homes to have weather radios. [WFIE]
