We’ve all made those silly bets.

I’ll bet you a dollar, you won’t eat that packet of ketchup.

I’ll bet you a dollar they score on this down.

I’ll bet you a dollar, you won’t cut your hair or beard for a year.

Never have I bet someone he wouldn’t stab me. I’m also not Evansville resident, Aaron Eddleman. Eddleman is facing preliminary charges of battery causing serious injury with a knife. He was allegedly with a group of people Tuesday night when he told a friend, “I bet you $1 that I’ll stab you” and then lunged forward with a pocket knife. The gash was 3/4 an inch deep and was sewn up with 4 stitches.

It really does amaze me how some people’s brain operates…
