Tuesday Evening Activities
Looking for something to do this evening? Here’s a few suggestions.
- Bob Ballard is performing at Quarter Note at 8PM.
- Ri-Ra has their pub quiz at 8PM.
- Lindsey Williams is playing at Old Chicago at 9:30PM.
- John Hussman is playing at Little Cheers at 10:30PM.
If you want to stay inside, fall TV premieres continue this evening. The Dancing With The Stars premiere continues tonight with the males dancing (Go Mark Cuban!) at 7PM. Boston Legal has its season premiere at 8:30PM.
CBS has three premieres tonight as well. A new season of NCIS starts at 7PM and is followed by the season premiere of The Unit at 8PM. At 9PM is the series premiere of Cane, which stars Jimmy Smits. This drama showcases the power struggle in the wealthy Cuban-American Duque family, who own a vast rum empire in south Florida. Many people are calling it a latin Sopranos. I might watch it.
The CW has one new show they’ve been pushing pretty hard: Reaper. The premise is that the main character, Sam, had his soul sold to the devil before he was born and the devil is now ready to collect on the sale. NBC has a single premiere tonight: Law & Order: SVU.
Fox has two season premieres tonight as well. Bones premieres at 7PM and House at 8PM.
