Monday Evening Activities

Looking for something to do this evening? Here’s a few suggestions.
- Bob Ballard is performing at Quarter Note at 8PM.
Since there’s not much live music in town tonight, you might want to stay home for a busy night for premieres. ABC25 has the premiere of Dancing With The Stars at 7PM and The Bachelor at 8:30PM.
Sitcom fans should tune into CBS. The network has the season premiere of How I Met Your Mother at 7PM and the series premiere of Big Bang Theory at 7:30PM. Big Bang Theory looks to be yet another hipster hero TV show that follows two nerds who fall in love for their new next door neighbor. The 8PM hour premieres Two and a Half Men and a new season of Rules of Engagement. After the sitcoms, CSI:Miami premieres at 9PM.
Personally, I will be tuned into NBC most of the evening. At 7PM there is the series premiere of Chuck. Chuck is about a computer store technician having all the government secrets downloaded into his head and having to be protected by the CIA. I’ve seen the pilot and was not a fan. At 8PM its the season premiere of Heroes. At 9PM is another series premiere: Journeyman. Journeyman features Kevin McKidd of Rome fame and tells the story of a guy who is able to travel through time to change the lives of those around him.
