Is there a hip hop event we are missing? Also are hip hop and rap the same thing?

If you are going to start a website, I would hope you can go to the library and checkout a elementary grammar book.

SPELLING IS FUN.

where is justin’s grammatical error? i don’t see one.
i think, though, you meant, in reference to the first post, “If you are going to submit to a website…”
and “checkout” is incorrect as you use it. “checkout” is a noun. “check out ” is an intransitive verb.
and “an elementary grammar book.”

@ Walter: woa, woa, woa, calm down. First, I can barely understand you. But moreover, why are you so enraged? The listings for the weekend are based on what is going on around town. If there is no hip hop going on, we can’t post anything about it. Even if their is, but no one tells us about it or submits information, how are we to know about it so that we can post it? But what I really don’t understand, is what you are so enraged about and why you would never come back to It’s Evansville simply because we are not aware of any hip hop gigs this weekend? You seem to have become insanely enraged for….well….I really don’t know why. And how did we imply that people who enjoy hip hop don’t have money? I’m sure there are tons of people who enjoy hip hop and who have money, or who enjoy hip hop and live in Evansville. We just didn’t find any gigs. It just amazes me about how enraged you became over, nothing?

Does anyone know of any book discussion group meetings here in Evansville OTHER than the EVPL ones as I already have their schedule. I’m also aware of, and have attended, the Progressive Book Club at Barnes and Noble. I’m especially interested in meetings in people’s homes. I am doing an ethnography on Book Discussion Groups for a Communications Studies class at USI. (I’m like a 30 year senior!) My field research has to be complete by about October 8th so these meetings would have to be before then. Thanks alot. p.s. Had to LOL at the comment by Cody. I like sarcastic humor! :-)

Don’t pay any attention to Walter Jones… he’s a notorious crybaby, even among the hip-hop scene around here. Oh and he kisses dudes.
