Shameless Plug: New Column Online
The latest edition of my Courier & Press technology column is both in the print and online editions of today’s paper.
This week I cover Google’s descision to shut down its for-pay Google Video Store and the effect its use of digital rights management (DRM) had on customers. You can read it by clicking here, or go pick up a copy of the paper so you can see my mug shot up close and personal.
If you want to read my past columns, check out the dotColumn archive.
Update: My column is already outdated. Google is giving a full refund to its users, even though they are still shutting down the DRM server in a few months (instead of immediately).
