Is it still hot outside? Ugh.
- UE announced its lineup for the annual Patricia H. Snyder Concert and Lecture Series. My personal pick is Fast Food Nation author Eric Schlosser.
- While you’ll be enjoying a larger energy bill for this month, Vectren will be celebrating the extra profits. They beat their record for peak electric usage Tuesday afternoon.
- Barry hit 756.
- Casino Aztar plans to build a 1046-seat theater for live performances in downtown Evansville starting next month. No one is sure whether the new theater would charge admission prices or what types of live performances would be offered there.
