We’re a few days late with this week’s open thread thanks to the holiday, but let’s talk about the holiday. Any funny stories from either the Freedom Festival or the 4th? Any excitement or interesting things you saw at the Freedom Festival? Did one of your friends blow their hand off with a roman candle last night?

I had a good 4th, went to the huge party off waterworks road. they had free beer the best veiw of the fireworks and 2 bands! it was all fun untill the hurricane force winds came off the river and it started storming
We came up from Atlanta and enjoyed our first Freedom Festival this year. It was awesome! We are already talking about the planning for next year. My regards and thanks to Evansville!
