Weekend Happenings
If you’re not standing out here waiting for an iPhone with me, you might want to try a few of these fun activities.
Friday
- There is more pro wrestling downtown tonight from 5PM to 7PM.
- John Hussman will be playing at Club Baja starting at 6:00PM.
- The Otters have a home game starting at 7:05PM.
- Jay Johnson is playing tonight at the Aztar Events Plaza as part of the Freedom Festival. He’s on stage at 7:30PM.
- The Freedom Festival Bierstube starts at 9PM with Gonzo’s Toybox.
- Vanilla Ice is at Club Baja starting at 10PM.
- The Pits are playing Crawdaddy’s at 10PM.
Saturday
- There’s Thunder on the Ohio practice throughout the day today. Heats begin at 3:55PM.
- The Freedom Festival Parade starts at 6PM tomorrow night
- The Otters have a home game starting at 7:05PM.
- Freedom Fest Bierstube rolls on with The Franklins starting at 7:30PM.
- Ricochet, Trent Tomlinson & Nashville Star Winner Chris Young will be performing from 7PM to 11PM.
- Autumn Jones will be playing Jillians starting at 9PM.
- Cecil’s has JEB starting at 10PM.
- Club Baja has Anywhere But Here starting at 10PM.
- Woody’s presents Suds On The Ohio starting at 10PM. Pfreak Show & Gonzo’s Toybox will perform.
Movies
There are quite a few good movie out this weekend.
- Live Free & Die Hard
- Ratatouille
- Michael Moore’s Sicko (excellent. I highlight recommend)

as for Vanilla Ice—my dad’s good friend saw him out at dinner Friday night, House of Komo was it?, and snapped a picture with him, haha
Live Free & Die Hard—good movie, lots of insane stunts! But I definitely enjoyed it, seemed a little long though, but good, check it out
