Open Thread: Freedom Festival Plans
The Freedom Festival starts up this weekend. This year’s festival features live music, fireworks, an air show and the hydroplane race just to name a few events.
I’ll be down there snapping photos to publish on the Web site, but I’m interested in knowing if you’re going and if so, what are you most looking forward to?

Definitely not looking forward to getting woken up every day by fighter jets flying above my house, nor am I excited about the prospect of all the freaks and geeks that come out to play. I’ll be the hammered guy.
I don’t want to be “that guy” but I really didn’t enjoy FF when I went my first year here in town. Perhaps I should give it another try but maybe some of you veterans can give me some tips.
Yep, I’m going. I’m looking foreward to everything, including the food.
I’m most looking forward to the planes and budweiser clydesdales–I love both!
