Weekend Happenings
There’s a lot happening in Evansville this weekend. Here’s a few suggestions.
Friday
- 1123 has metal bands Blacklisted and This Is Hell starting at 8PM.
- For the more mellow in the audience, the Jungle has live blues starting at 8PM.
- The Pits are at Time Out Lounge starting at 9PM.
- Most interesting thing of the weekend? Here Come The Mummies is at Baja starting at 10PM.
- You can most likely find my brother at Fast Eddy’s listening to Gonzos Toybox.
- Ri Ra has Static starting at 10:30PM.
Saturday
- The Pits are at Time Out Lounge starting at 9PM.
- Rich Hardesty will be at the Duck Inn starting at 10PM.
- Gonzos is at Fast Eddy’s at 10PM.
- Oxygen has Never Been Caught starting at 10PM.
Movies
Opening this weekend are John Cusack’s 1408, Evan Almighty, and Sir Ben Kingsley’s You Kill Me. My pick of the week is A Mighty Heart, the Daniel Pearl film starring Angelina Jolie.
