Looking for something to do this weekend? Try these on for size.
Friday
- The Otters are playing this evening starting at 7:05PM.
- There’s live music at the Four Freedoms Monument tonight at 8:00PM. Stationary Odyssey and Tragic are putting on a Heroine Benefit Show. I assume that is for recovering from a Heroine addiction and not promoting you to inject.
- Mesker Amphitheater has “Dark Side of the Rainbow” at 8PM. Dark Side mixes The Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon for a psychedelic experience.
- Cecils has Nocturnal at 10PM.
- Club Baja has Static at 10PM.
- Stompbox 40 is at Eddys at 10PM.
- Ri Ra has The Clumsy Lovers starting at 10:30PM.
Saturday
- Dragons On The Ohio take place all day today down at the Evansville Riverfront.
Working Together, a juried show put on by the Arts Council and the Evansville Museum opens today. There’s a receiption from 6 to 8PM, but the exhibit will be around until August 5. - The Evansville BlueCats are playing at the stadium this evening at 7:00PM.
- Go shoot a deer and then eat it at the Ted Nugent concert. He is at Mesker starting at 8PM.
- Cecils has Nocturnal at 10PM.
- Club Baja has Static at 10PM.
- Stompbox 40 is at Eddys at 10PM.
