Evening on the River This Friday
This Friday evening the Evansville Parks Foundation is putting on it’s annual Evening on the River benefit from 6:30PM to 10:30PM. This year’s fundraiser is to benefit the Freedom Plaza Garden that is being rejuvenated in front of the Signature School. You can see our construction photos from last month by clicking here.
The evening will start with a progressive dinner starting at Casino Aztar and making its way down to the Evansville Museum. Along the way there will be carriage rides and a silent auction where you can purchase a Steinway Piano gift certificate, golf packages, sports tickets and more.
Tickets are available now for $50 by calling the Evansville Parks Department at (812) 435-6141.

Don’t you think $50 each is a little pricey for most people to attend. I would gladly support this event if it was more reasonable. But $100 for two people for a couple of hours snacking & strolling by the public riverway?????

Maybe, but it’s not like the $50/per is lining someone’s pockets. It’s a fundraiser for the EPF.

I agree, I’d be very interested in going but I can’t afford the $50, I wish it were $30-$40, maybe even more people come come out that way. It is still in my considerations though!!! Sounds neat!
