Evansville Otters on Parade
In case you weren’t aware, Evansville has a minor league baseball team, and they are pretty good. So good in fact that they won it all last year. The Frontier League champion Evansville Otters will be opening their season this Wednesday with opening day festivities at Bosse Field tomorrow night at 7:05PM. Besides sporting a championship swagger, the Otters also have a new manager and a snazzy new logo.
As part of the celebration of the Otter’s championship last fall, there is going to be an old-fashioned ticker tape parade in downtown Evansville Wednesday afternoon starting at 12:15PM. The parade will also serve as a fundraiser for the Tri-State Food Bank. Anyone who drops by the Courier & Press recreational vehicle and donates money or a canned good will receive a bag of confetti. We’ll be down at the parade snapping photos and passing out It’s Evansville stickers to parade goers.

otters games are so fun.
and with tickets a $5 each or $8ish for a whole family.. it’s the best value for summer entertainment.
