Weekend Wrapup

Happy Mothers Day. Here’s some news from the past few days.
- That didn’t take long. Evansville’s GOP Mayoral Candidate, David M. Nixon, is being accused of owing $12,000 in child-support.
- Big news is that EVSC finally has a new Superintendent, John Bertram of Lafayette, IN. He starts July 1
- Need a sign that summer is almost here? Gas is at $3+ a gallon right now. Don’t look for it to go down anytime soon either.
- Next time you eat at Jimmy Johns, I hope your sandwich maker gets the order right. The owner of the Burkhardt shop was arrested for allegedly assaulting an employee and then convincing said victim to lie about it. If you do go to Jimmy Johns, I recommend the #14.
- More fallout from the Aztar vs. Mayor Weinzapfel saga. I’m hoping they settle it in a steel cage.
