Don’t Drink the Water
If you’ve been relying on the Evansville drinking water as your sole supply of fluoride daily and have been wondering why your teeth are falling out, we have answers! It turns out that Evansville water has not had the fluoride additive since February.
Mary Armacost, our Water Quality Manager (what a title), says there is national shortage of the chemicals used to put fluoride into drinking water thanks to their plant being destroyed last year during Hurrican Katrina. There’s no timetable for when fluoride will grace your faucets again, but rest assured, it will return.
In the interim, may I suggest you brush and floss daily?
