Every Saturday night we like to round up the local crime stories from the previous few days and put a spotlight on the riff-raff of society. We call it Evansville 911.
- A local teen wanted to go to the Tri-Fest in Henderson over the weekend, but when he got there he was arrested. The teen was offered a ride by someone whose kindness was returned with a knife to her throat as the teen stole her wallet. Kids these days.
- A UE student was attacked on campus Thursday night. Police say a white male tried to force a female student into his car.
- Seven murder cases are waiting to go to trial at the Vanderburgh County Courthouse.
- The Evansville police officer accused earlier this month of stealing money from a drug suspect is set to go to trial June 27.
