Comedy Night: Katt Williams

Ever since the Funny Bone closed it’s doors a few years ago, there have not been too many comedy acts making their way to town. Comedy in the past few years has been making an impressive comeback thanks to nationwide comedy tours put on by the likes of Opie and Anthony or Bob & Tom.

With this resurging interest in comedy that is upon us, local Top-40 station KISS-FM has brought comedian Katt Williams to town tonight (7:30PM The Centre). Katt Williams has been featured in his own HBO special, movies and music videos for big name artists such as Ludacris, Ice Cube and Nick Cannon. My favorite role of Williams’ is Money Mike in the otherewise abysmall Friday After Next. Katt Williams’ comedy centers on the black community, so fans of Larry The Cable Guy probably need not apply.
