Looks like another slow news day in Evansville. Here’s today’s highlights.
- The Indiana House approved legislation that would establish a statewide smoking ban in Indiana. Sadly, it still doesn’t cover bars.
- A new domestic violence bill has been been passed to protect victims of domestic violence. Under the new law a victim who rents property will have the right to request the landlord change the locks or terminate their lease without penalty with 30 days notice.
- The Evansville Blitz youth soccer team plans to host a 130 team tournament next year.
